Some of boss patterns are kind of bland with them just dashing back and forth.

Zeros implementation is frankly terrible and I don't know what he's supposed to do. He isn't a very good crutch for new players since one mistake will make him dissappear forever, and since he automatically warps out between boss rooms you really only benefit from him on short level sections. As he stands, he's a very vestigial addition thats little more than a novelty.

Thats it really - its fucking dope otherwise. Soundtrack is great, level design is solid and the abundant items make exploration some of the most rewarding in the series. I consider it the 3rd best X game after 1 and 2.
