What was it like in the 80s when arcade games were at the height of their popularity?
I was born in '89 so I didn't really get to experience the true arcade experience outside of some nickel nickel and some arcades in Vegas casinos.


Do arcade games have a place in modern society?

Are there any sites that sell GB/C games with newer batteries installed?

You have a million dollars to start your own arcade. The sky is almost the limit, but you only have so much room to put the cabinets. The games can be old or new. Which games do you pick?

Hey /vr/

I'm gonna be in New Jersey for the weekend, and I'm wondering if there are any really good arcades there? I'll be around Jersey Shore, just for reference, all I can find from googling it is just a list of arcades, which doesn't tell me much.
