The cable that's going out of the case on the top left is from the Genesis pad hack. Neither the Brook retro nor the MC Cthulhu support Genesis.

So, I just suck a cheap-ass knockoff Genesis controller in there, soldered to the pads on the PCB, and ran the cable out the back.

If I want to play Genesis, I just pull that short cable out of the side compartment and hook up an extension cable to it.
