As someone who browses /v/ out of sheer curiosity, since I barely play anything new, unfortunately you're right about this too.

A lot of the video games that come out now, when talked about on /v/ and stuff, have this political discussion, mostly identity politics, I actually find it quite forced most of the time, how pretty much any minor thing is "woke" or something, but then there's also cases where pretty much anyone can tell the developer is pushing an agenda and shoving it down player's throats, and still some there do defend this...

I don't mind the UI being more TV/Controller oriented, my main issue is that it's clearly for traditional controllers only, trying to map my 6-button 8BitDo M30 has been a pain, and a weird thing is going that its being recognized properly when on Bluetooth, but wired it's a XBOX 360 controller... for some reason? I'm aware that this could be more on 8BitDo and RetroArch's innocent, but I wish I could load a mapping file from one type of controller to a different one, I'm trying to set it up from the start and for some reason it just doesn't work.
