Tried this little "gem" for the first time the other day. You guys are so full of shit. You said Croc was good. Its not. More like Croc of shit

It's pretty much the only 3D platformer I like.

This is probably just nostalgia. I know the controls for this game were horrible and his voice was extremely annoying but man I loved Croc.

I loved Gex 2, never got to play the 3rd one.
The horror channel scared me shitless as a kid. Had to play them with the volume turned low. Looking back those levels were really dark. There was a portrait in one that depicted cannibalism, and another of a satyr pissing blood.

For me though, my childhood favorite was pick related. On retrospect it was clunky as hell, but the music in that game created some of the most chilled atmosphere in gaming I've ever had. Personally I think the music surpasses the spyro games.

Actually, the guys behind Starfox pitched that Yoshi idea to Nintendo and got turned down (and later claimed.that Nintendo stole the very idea of making a 3D platformer from them).

Then they turned it into this abortion.

Can we talk about this game? Sure it's no Banjo-Kazooie but it's still worth being mentioned from time to time.

I was wondering what's the best version of the game? Playstation or PC?

I was thinking about replaying it so if you guys could help me decide which version to pick it would be much appreaciated.

I'm under the impression that this isn't considered as very good due to controls and that it's pretty samey in its mechanics, but all the same i loved the level design and music.
