Publishers were making a bid to make games accessible. Brother, they did it, but those people are addicts: they need more and more stimulation to have fun.

I ain't no psychologist, but novelty-seeking is the fastest way to boredom.

They'll keep this shit up until the industry crashes, which is hopefully inevitable.
