Surprised nobody has posted this one yet. Back when I was a kid I loved this game to death and used to consider it "My favorite game of all time" Now I'd put it in maybe my top 20 but I still love this game a lot. I genuinely think it's better than Mega Man

Capcom has exclusive rights to make Disney games since it's founding and Konami has exclusive rights to make Warner Bros games (DC will be Sunsoft until 1992 when the game rights went to Konami) since 1984 (When Warner Bros sold off Atari); What changes?

A decent number of well known NES platformers based on western cartoons are considered good to great. Are there any Japanese anime based platformers which also play well? It seems like some anime got shoved into the JRPG pit (DragonBall after game one), while others had terrible platformers or action games (first Hokuto no Ken game, Around the World in 80 Days)
