There was that other World of Darkness retro game that was really good.

Apparently Capcom only wanted to license the "Vampire" name so they could stop calling it Darkstalkers in America, but White Wolf thought it was a collaboration due to a shitty translator, and sent back notes. Capcom Japan was offended at the arrogance and called it off, which is why the console version is just called Darkstalkers 3.

Does anyone know what's up with this? The story I always heard was that White Wolf REEEEEEEd at Capcom for making a fighting game called Vampire, and somehow this and the Street Fighter RPG were the results, but I can't find a source on that anywhere.
