Who knows? I don't think any actual design sketch for the final revenant was ever published anywhere, it's just the one where it has the helmet and SSG, which is pretty radically different from the model which Greg Punchatz would make, and itself being somewhat different to the final iteration which Adrian or Kevin retouched it into (because he forgot to account for detail vs. resolution)

I don't think there's ever been any indication of that in any way. The Arch-Vile has a very masculine chest and shoulders, and is partially based on Pumpkinhead.
Greg Punchatz did make a more Gigeresque take on the Arch-Vile as a concept for Doom 64, but due to hardware limitations that was one of the many things which were cut, probably before any serious work was done on implementing it even.

D64 has models by Gregor of demons that never made it into the game
>Cyberdemon but red, with 2 arm cannons/metal legs and iron armor on his chest
>2 headed Hellhound
>Bald lady with HR Giger aesthetic
Some think she could be D64's take on the Archvile because nobody knows what she'd be if she was a new enemy with gameplay
But considering PS1 Doom cut the Vile and D64 kinda carries over from that port (Even minor things like the lightning, sounds and OST's direction), nobody knows if they'd program Archie in 64 when they had to cut other enemies and replace Revenants with homing rockets as level hazards

has it ever been stated that design is the archie?
because i know doom 64 was based off ps1 doom and that port couldn't get the archvile to work
it can make sense if the design is infact the archvile itself because until the 2 headed dog or more cybernetic cyberdemon, i can't see them cook up a whole new complex set of abilities for that female demon creature
i do like to think that doom 3 should have used this design instead of their "just the base archvile but fatter and no mouth tubes" version

Doom 64 was supposed to have a new demon (also theorized to have been a new design for the Arch-vile) that looked like a Giger inspired woman humanoid but it was scrapped.

Lately i have become kinda obsessed with doom 64 and i discovered that a couple monster were cut from the game like pic related.
there's has been any attempt of recreate them? i have seen just the annihilator and the shitty ceberus of brutal doom 64
