it would be incredibly more badass to make UAC's standard weapon a fucking gatling gun instead of some wimpy shitty assault rifle or plasma gun like in Doom 3. I was just thinking the other day what if they had gone through with it instead of the HAR in nuDoom (which isn't at all different from the standard doom chaingun come to think of it, besides terms of appereance), it would've set a difference in the vidya canon than a mere rehash of the old 'futuristic soldier with rifle' trope.
