There's also the sequel, the much shorter and easier Legend of Xanadu II.

This game plays about the same, but has a color palette which makes it look a lot like late-era SNES RPGs. The sidescrolling sections are now only used for the boss battles.

This game is a lot easier to translate as it loads from the disc more often. If I recall correctly a project is underway but stalling as usual.
