Bungie makes Quake and Unreal fans seethe because they did what Carmack and Epic never did. Develop a high budget single player campaign of considerable quality and finding a way to make FPS controls digestible to mass market console experience. Prove me wrong.

So I'm playing this game for the first time ever. Never tried it and am using the source port. Also am a huge Doom fanboy.

Tell me guys, did this game not age well or something? I spend like half my time trying to figure out where to go. The enemies are really, dull and bland. Level designs aren't that amazing but the space levels make it slightly interesting. Honestly though, this game needs a shotgun.

Does this game ever pick up though because other than the story, it's got little going for it compared to Doom.
