Yeah but by the time it was over, they were already making the horrid Ultimate Battle 22 and Shin Butoden. At least we got Hyper Dimension.
I don't mind the roster of Butoden 3 actually, although it would have been nice to also have Videl.

I know, I just mentioned the only non-retro DBZ game I played. Well, I also played a bit of Battle of Z and didn't like it.

Really? I think graphics in Butoden 3 are good, on par with Butoden 2 (they actually reused some sprites, like Trunks, Goku, Vegeta), but has a kinda brighter color palette like Butoden 1 instead of 2's more gritty palette.
As for the speed, there's a secret code to enable turbo speed, just press and hold L and R on controller 2 during the intro.

The only thing HD is missing is 18.

SB3 is great for 18 alone
