Not that anon but as the Valis games are all TurboGrafx-CD games they all feature voice acting during cutscenes and before bosses as well as CD audio. Genesis never even got Valis II. They are also better than Rondo of Blood imo

They are separate games entirely anon (aside from Valis III which is mostly identical). II and III were released in USA on the TurboGrafx-CD but not the other two. You can emulate the original games for TurboGrafx-CD easily just like any other console, all you need is the BIOS and rom, but I do believe they translated the first game on the Switch collection. You don't really need to know Japanese to play it though, it's a basic platformer just like Mega Man. She even has the same slide kick.
