Literally every game Treasure made was a complete break from trends at the time with the exception of their licensed games which were for cash.

If you actually played any of their games, especially Silhouette Mirage, Ikaruga, Mischief Makers, Stretch Panic, you would know how ridiculous of a statement this is.

If Treasure is somehow generic literally the entire industry is creatively bankrupt by comparison. No game company was able to make mainstream games with as much creative freedom and originality.
