Every final fantasy in the main series past 7 is bad, but 8 is definitely the worst because it's lackluster in everything a good final fantasy has: story, music, combat system, side elements. 9 and 10 were also very bad but not nearly as bad as 8, i managed to get through 9 and 10 and havent touched them since, I won't even get halfway through 8 if i try to play it because it's so abominably boring.
