Anyone have any tips for beating this guy sans ninjutsu? I could avoid that hand fine if it wasn't for the sticky shit but it makes it really awkward to move.

I want to do a no-ninjutsu run of the game, though I've never beaten it before so I'll probably start using ninjutsu on the later levels until I get through it at least once. But the first two bosses are such chumps that it seems ridiculous to resort to ninjutsu on the third.
