Yeah I'll connect the audio outputs to my stereo so no prob with that.

About the quality, how mediocre is it? can you provide a pic plox? with the Screen Properties window open showing the screen resolution if possible.
pic related is my CRT, it's not great but the colors look much better than on my LCD. also, true blacks.
