Consoles get so much attention, why don't we talk some about MS-DOS?
>What are your favorite DOS-exclusive games?
>Do you have a working computer?
>MS-DOS or Freedos?

Been thinking about keeping a /vr/ era PC around but I'm not sure how to go about it. Lot of old games I enjoy playing run just fine on my current system thanks to fan patches, GOG, etc. but every now and then I still find a few games that either don't work well or don't work at all. Rogue Squadron 3D glitches and freezes once it makes it to the main menu and Crimson Skies has completely broken graphics, for example.
Any advice you guys can share, like components wise or what to look for? I'd like to piece something together that can play those games and some others in the mid-90's early-00's era. I don't really need DOS support, though that would be fun to mess around with if I can do it.
