Best places in the UK i've found are

eBay (chock full of reseller faggots but sometimes things get overlooked)
Gumtree (riskier than eBay but far far less resellers, but they still do exist here)
Generic cash converter/second hand shop clones (you can sometimes find some good stuff in these, old people and stupid mums drop stuff off here and noone hardly looks in them, i got a sega saturn from a british heart foundation shop, shame it didn't work)
