Want to play BG1 for the first time. What should I know? I got the GOG non-EE version. I've only played PS:T from the classic WRPGs before. I've also played some D&D, but not 2nd edition.

Best way to play this? I've heard of easyTuTu and Trilogy, but I'd like to play BG1 vanilla for my first time.

How is the Enhanced Edition with the new characters and cutscenes modded out?

I'm about to start a play through of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 for the first time. I've got two questions:

1. What class should I go with? I enjoy just about everything besides cleric, druid type classes but I don't want to get fucked for making the wrong choices. I'd like something good and fun if possible.

2. What else should I keep in mind?
