creature xp is cool,it gives you a reason to go out and fight and it makes sence that seasoned veterans would be better fighters with better abilities than fresh weekend soldiers bought on day1

there is litteraly nothing wrong with having extra creatures in the game, commanders and henchmen add a more developinig vibe, with them you are not forced to chose between scouting and eagle eye
