>start playing this on my DS's GB emulator
>get a decent ways in, around the third or fourth dungeon
>decide to take a break
>save and turn off DS
>come back a couple of hours later
>save isn't there
>mfw the emulator doesn't keep saves unless you exit the emulator before turning the system off

And I haven't played the game since.
