I have no trouble with Zelda 2. I have the patterns and the strategy down for taking out Iron Knuckles and Dark Link (and not the cheap ones). The only place that's really a challenge is going after the hammer on Death Mountain.

But the first Zelda game I start really sucking around Labyrinth 5 when you start getting rooms full of wizzrobes and/or blue darknuts. They just fuck me up.

This is the order of the best Zelda games, IMO:

LttP > MM > Oracles > OoT > Zelda 2 > LA > WW

And the Zelda timeline is fucking stupid. It's just bullshit Nintendo conjured up after the fact to try to link together the games that were never meant to have direct connections to each other.
