The problem with pokemon is that it is a mother fucking RPG where the mons are simply stat blobs fuck even the attacks are the same and grafted on the mon.

I like buying it in person, not just a flea market but also little stores that sell and buy retro games.
The best part is when you befriend the shop owner or become a frequent customer, he'll be more likely to show you some rare games or give you discount, which a regular customer won't get so often.
Every local retrostore has a excluded room where more valueble stuff are stored for special customers, that's my experience atleast. But it's best to find the more honest sellers however, I have seen some stores where they sell cheap retro games, consoles and accessoires for a rediculous price.

My boss is a thrift store owner, he often gets some retro games and consoles but they're mostly standard stuff, I work hard there so I get some of those for free if I'm lucky.
