Remember that Doom movie from 2005, that bombed at the box office? Had the film succeeded at the box office, there would have been a 2-disc steenbook edition. The extra disc would have even more bonus features, including a port of the original 1993 Doom video game, fully playable via the DVD player's remote. We're not fucking around, Doom '93 was almost playable on DVD players. So could a DVD player run Doom (the 1993 game, not just the movie)?

Too bad the Doom movie flopped so bad, the collector's edition of the DVD, along with the DVD player port of Doom '93, was cancelled. At least the Doom movie got a DVD release at all.
