The one I have is fucking horrible, and it's killing the experience.

To me, this game is the best of its genre

I played this for a few hours and had to put it down because it was too good, thinking I'd take my time. Never got back to it.

Dividead was awesome, but the thing is it's still cleverly disguised haremshit. If you have low tolerance to anime and haremshit you'll hate it.

Started playing this recently. Anyone here on VR care for this game/visual novel? I still can't decide whether I'm wasting my time or not... Not even the "adult scenes" are animated. Can't say I care for it just yet... Maybe it gets better..?

Divi Dead is probably the only VN I would really enjoy repeatedly. Every time I would play, I would get sucked in for days. English copies are next to impossible to find.

I like a lot of the 90's era eroge games like Divi Dead, Nocturnal Illusion, Critical Point and the like. The best ones had such great stories that the porn was an afterthought.

Sure, you can download them, but finding physical copies of some of the english releases is next to impossible.

What is really a challenge for collecting is 90's era English eroge. Trying to find physical copies of C's Ware/Himeyasoft stuff is next to impossible. If you do manage to find it, whoever wants $300 or whatever for it.

What's wrong with anime style? I really only see a couple of spaz's from /v/ throw shitfits over it.

It's really just another art style of presenting a video game to me. I certainly enjoyed the older style of anime, but I'm not hung up over it.

Despite being a VN, Divi Dead is actually a thriller, not a sex romp. The few sex scenes in the game are there to disturb and horrify you instead of titillate.

Divi Dead and Critical Point are favorites of mine.

If you can do without the porn, EVE: Burst Error is also excellent.
