yeah my grandmother grew up with black-and-white TV.

she said the early color models in the 60s were really blurry compared the much sharper and probably higher resolution black-and-white sets of the time.

she didn't see any worthwhile color TVs until around the late 70s or mid 80s

my earliest memories are from an old black-and-white set I probably watched until I was eight.

and I remember thinking how crazy cartoons looked in color.
