Not a super concrete idea on which modern retroshooter I'd like to get continuation since I don't know of that many projects.

However, I would definitely be into a retroshooter that would be in a military theme with a fast pace where you'd play with some soldier guy that was reminiscent of a HECU Marine and the action could be fairly balls to the wall with a mix of weapons based in but not necessarily strictly limited by reality. Something like Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2 and Half Life 1 where you have fairly fast movement and such, semi-realistic weapons and satisfying weapon feedback?

Theming would be basically like Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1985 movie ''Commando'', big musclebound man going up against unfair odds but with tons of guns and maybe improvised weapons.
