I'm got a MODEL 1 Genesis HD-Graphics with a Model 1 Sega CD.

Where am I gonna get the best bang for my buck?

I am thinking of buying a Sega Genesis. I used to have one as a kid, but it was sold when I was about 14 to pay bills during a hard time. Because I am extremely limited on space, I am thinking of getting an everdrive as well as the model 2. Do you think you can answer some of these questions for me?

What is the difference between the Mega Everdrive and the Everdrive MD, and which one is the better one to get?

I read that master system games do work on the Everdrive, how are the games paused then? Would a japanese MkIII game work on an american Genesis (Phantasy Star)?

When I flash a game, are the saves to it kept as a file, so that when I flash something else, I don't lose the data?
