Not to say that 2, 3, 4, etc didn't have some nice tracks. But the first three games have themes that are much more distinct and memorable and better.

You guys use Android PSX Emulators?
I've been trying to play MGS on my phone for a while now but I just can't get it to work.... Fucking frustrating. Any advice??

I've just bought Metal Gear Solid (well, downloaded it from the store for PS3); despite hearing about the series since I was 10, this is going to be my first playthrough. I also realise this may not be the most... productive thread, but the only other one argues about releases, and I'd rather prepare myself well for the journey I'm about to experience. I've decided to give MGS series a chance after hearing how great Snake Eater was, and I'd rather play the games in the order they were released, to recognise the characters/events.

So MGS enthusiasts, is there anything I should know beforehand? I must admit I'm scared that the controls might put me off (but not the graphics, I'm not that guy).
