Debatable, I prefer the mix of Western and Eastern music to the jazzy feel of III's soundtrack but I can get liking III's more.

This is just a lie. In IV everyone will see use due to combat system allowing everyone in your party. I would say everyone is pretty good and no one is really useless. In III some characters are just outclassed. Basically every person uses the same team in III, Ryu, Rei, and Momo. Garr, Nina, and Peco require way more dedication to make viable and often are just benched. Nina is really a shame since magic in III is just kind of shitty overall.

III's system is overrated in my opinion. On paper it's a great system but ultimately some genes are just kind of shitty and will never be used. Not to say IV's system is amazing but I wouldn't argue III's as anything amazing.

I never really had much of a problem with fairy maintenance in either. In IV all I did was check in occasionally and once I got Ursula I would hunt food for them every so often.

I feel IV's ending is brilliant. The fact Yuna escapes with no consequence is a great twist that really makes you feel that Fou Lu's position, while wrong, was more understandable and adds depth to the story. With III I like the story but I feel it wasn't used to it's full potential. I wish there was some questioning as to whether Myria is fully wrong in her ambitions. It's an interesting story but I feel they barely touch on it.

I like both games but I find IV greatly superior personally but respect your opinion.

Maybe for 1 but 2 still has the garbage translation as well as the problems snes to gba ports had. Retranslation is the best way to play BoFII.
