B&O used to be a fancy brand in Denmark and growing up in the 80's and 90's, every family seemed to have one of their television sets or wall-mounted stereo, so definitely high-end consumer. You can still find a lot of them really cheaply with the remote controlled TV stand that rotates completely silently.

B&O still consider themselves fancy and try to sell flat-panel televisions at absolutely ludicrous prices, which I'm sure rich people who wanna flash their wealth are into, but most normal people just buy a massive Samsung or LG instead these days.

Absolutely, not only do they have excellent picture, they also have an incredibly booming sound so they both look and sound great. I did a video about it which you can watch here.

One thing I can't stress enough though is that if you get one BE SURE TO GET IT WITH A REMOTE CONTROL. You cannot access menus or even change the input sources without the remote and if people know what they have, they'll usually sell the TV for cheap and charge you a ton for the remote. Some later revisions of the TV allows for 3rd party remotes, but I wouldn't risk it.

The MX-series are absolutely amazing TVs with built-in settings to de-interlace 480i for beautiful scanlines.
