Bypass the PVM entirely for audio. Get an adapter to go from 2RCA to the presumably 3.5mm cable the PC speakers have.

And that, as well as the fact that I'll need to disassemble it to even get a list of caps needed(never been able to find a service manual for the XC-3730c) is why I've had it for 3 years now and it's still not done.

This is just a small PCB on the back; There are much larger ones mounted beside the tube that have fewer but larger ones. And all the little bodge wires/components added after the fact on the opposite side of said boards.
