If you don't like CRT's you should also stop using CRT filters to pretend that you do and make up your mind. In my case I do have a CRT that I enjoying playing, but sometimes I like to experiment different scalers on LCD that are not intended to mimic CRT but instead just scale the game in a better way to fit higher resolutions without the dark lines from CRT filters blocking your view
