It's a clunky, but I do really appreciate the art style of the original.

How about not pretending 40 character passwords are in any way 'ideal' from the developer's standpoint. You bet your ass it would have a save function if it had been feasible at the time. That shit was expensive in 1987. Note that every single MT game after it has saving, including the remake. It was an exclusion based on technological limitations, not a fucking artistic choice.

>PVMs aren't a novelty or some spergy status symbol
>they're dogshit in comparison to my 20" ex-medical display

Thanks for beautifully proving my point.

The Retron 5 is literally just that, it's ripping ROMs from your carts and then emulating them, poorly. If you're going to emulate, emulate. If you want to play with real hardware, buy real hardware. There's no in-between my friend.

Not to mention the Game Genie doesn't fit in a top-loader.

They're like $30 (if you don't have one laying around), there's 100M of them in the world, it's just a cheap option. You know like exactly what I said.

You just agreed with the majority of my post (I said SNES is unplayable). I admittedly haven't done enough Genesis emulation on the DS to make a call on that, so I'll take your word. All DS emulators are abandoned at this point, I only recommended it as a low-cost, simple solution.

It should go without saying but non-arcade releases are allowed.

Hey /vr/

So I'm looking for a Pacman game I remember I used to play as a kid, but I don't know it's name.

All I remember is that the first level was in a city, and it kinda had a 2.5D kind of graphics. I think you could get busted by the ghosts, and you had to collect gems/emeralds in each level.

Anyone has any idea of which Pacman game is this?
