The Japanese garden was the shit. This is probably my favourite photo from yesterday: Silhouette of a sculpted Japanese pine tree next to that of a Tōrō lamp made of hewn stone, seen across a reflecting waterway and some stepping stones.

I'll try getting one that's properly focused some other time. As you said, animals are generally rather uncooperative and these tiny buggers move very fast, as do the flowers they land on. 9 out of 10 shots were garbage, which is why I took these right at the beginning.
