Main character is a no-named super-duper awesome dude who became a 'space marine' on mars after beating the shit out of his own CO.
The super-duper evil corporation opens a portal to hell on the moons of mars, however no explanation of why one planet disappears is ever given.
Every other space-marine gets killed, but you go through the moon bases and hell and return to earth to save everyone on earth and then you kill Satan (but he's just a fucking wall texture and a retarded sound effect).
The story is so shallow you couldn't wash dishes in it. The backstory is only mentioned on in the manual, however it is a shareware game so manuals are most likely rare. The rest of the story is told in text walls that take for ever to end if you don't skip them and the writing is dog shit.
The gameplay is your regular shootem up with the added gimmick of '2d environments' however you can't look up, down or jump. The enemies are either insta-hit gunners, slow fireball throwers or a whole load of bullshit.
The music is plagiarised from several well known metal bands and the sound effects are all from sound libraries.
The level design gets worse as time goes by and sometimes has horrendous glitches and missing textures.
The hacks for this game are all unoriginal sprite-rips and generic levels.

Hopefully this is the last we see of this trash. It proves that 3d graphics always sacrifice actual effort and quality.
