/vr/ - Retro Games

So I wanted to play me some classic doom and I already owned Ultimate doom steam release

(I don't care about your purest ways of doom nor which version is best version etc etc, take that shit back to the blood thread)

I'm playing with mouse and I was disturbed when I noticed that mouse forward and back moved my character...what? I couldn't find a guide to change this, everyone just spammed source ports or novert. I used novert and it worked.

I want to know if there is a way to do what novert does without using novert or if someone has a way to look at what they are doing in their exe please let me know as I would like to know for other dosbox games.
