I'm looking to purchase a model 1 Genesis, 23X, and a model 2 Sega CD and I needed some advice-

After lurking this site http://retrorgb.com/genesis.html It's helped me get a better idea of what to look for, but i'm still confused on a few things...

From what I've heard before, all model 1 AV ports only output mono sound and need to be either modded or use a special bypass stereo cable-
For the 32X, I apparently need this cable to get stereo https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/games-consoles/sega/32x/sega-32x-to-mega-drive1-patch-cable-stereo-sound?tracking=5543fb4c077bb and just get a model 2 RGB cable for RGB out with stereo sound from both the 32X & Genesis, correct?

I was originally going to research and commission the Neptune mod, but then I remembered the Sega Trio adapter existed after rewatching one video from My Life in Gaming on jewtube.

For the Sega CD, when it's in use, It'll out put full stereo sound through the Genesis, right? Even if I left the 32X plugged in, or do I need a model 1 AV cable?

Isn't the model 1 an unreliable POS? I've always preferred it's look compared to the model 2.

I looked into the Mega Amp a long while ago, and it seemed interesting. Is it really necessary if I have a model 1?

Which Everdrive is the best one right now? I wanna play Genesis, Master System and 32X games with one, and I understand it can be used as a RAM cart and multi-region BIOS.

Will a Light Phaser work on a Genesis?

And now for RGB...kinda. I don't have access to a RGB monitor and am convinced I never will, so I'm looking for a good basic CRT with component. What's a good, basic RGB to component transcoder that converts the signal losslessly and has no lag?

Sorry for being retarded, I wanna make sure I get all this right, and trying to get ready for work.
