>Xanadu

Xanadu was made bakc when they had no idea how to translate TTRPGs into a video game, so everyone had their own interpretation. Nihon Falcom opted for real time or semi-real time combat and their games, despite being dated, now feel like they were ahead of the curve on rpgs. It's incredibly interesting, but I'm not sure if I would play all the way through.

>FaXanadu (Famicom + Xanadu)

Originally started as a simple port, it ended up being a completely original game and a very solid and now classic side-scrolling action rpg. It does not have the best graphics for the Famicom, and the action is a bit imprecise and rough. Still one of the best games for the system.

>Xanadu Next

This plays a bit more like Diablo, and it's a total shame this game got overhsadowed. It's completely in the spirit of D&D style fantasy adventure games.

>Xanadu Tokyo

A modern game taking modern anime and J-RPG style and sentiment.
