The price of any finite resource that goes unreplenished rises as the supply inevitably decreases. Collectors are not causing anything that woudn't happen anyways with time. If anything collector mentality keeps prices down for longer, because if the games were in a state of constant buy/sell flux and each seller was looking to make a small margin on the transaction the prices would rise higher, quicker.

Just seems like petty resentment you have to play certain things on an emulator a bit sooner.
