The game features a living storyline that changes the world across monthly updates to a degree that puts certain modern MMOs to shame. Past events have involved the abduction and attempted indoctrination of prominent guild leaders, the permanent destruction of the most player-populated city in the game, and an official monument of recognition dedicated to a group of players who actually subverted one month's planned story outcome with sheer determination, grit, and a lot of player killing. Oh, and the seasons change, too.

Amazingly the game is still running today, though unfortunately is quite difficult to pick up and play in today's era due to its massively dated graphics (they were fairly crude even during its initial release), ancient engine, and overall complexity and progression curve.
