Are there any romhacks that fix the annoying fuck-ups in this otherwise solid game? Like remove the lives system, make Death Mountain easier and give more hints for obtuse puzzles?

Like that one Castlevania 2: SQ hack that fixed the retarded text, day/night transitions and other stuff?

There's no question, I'm in the middle of another playthrough right now.

It is my professional opinion as a game developer that Zelda II has some of the best-designed pacing in the history of gaming.
