Okay let me try and rephrase that:

I really have no problem with the "racist" (you're right, it really isn't) humor in the original Shadow Warrior. I just think it's kind of... dated.

Sure it was considered comedy gold back in the nineties, but then again so were the Austin Powers movies. I thought those were hilarious when they came out, but now they just seem kinda blunt with its crudeness. Times change, and things we like back in the day seem awkward in modern light.

I'm really not against poking fun at asian culture like they did before, I just hope they approach it with a little more cleverness rather than just having a guy with a funny accent quoting Tide commercials every time he finds a fortune cookie. Give it more George Carlin and less Jeff Dunham.

Either way, it looks like the publisher is siding with you on this.
