How is it sloppy, and how is it misapplied? You've done nothing to substantiate

Weren't these versions true ports to the Saturn as opposed to later releases being emulation? I remember watching a video regarding how this was one of the better ways to play the original Sonic Trilogy with some extra original features and of course Sonic World. I wonder if the slow down just comes down to weird optimization quirks when porting the game over to the Saturn because the slowdowns exist at weird parts of the game, but other places that suffered on the Genesis run better in comparison, also the multiplayer being not shit. The music aspect is probably the more interesting thing here because the music was captured directly off a Model 1 Genesis so having the music not be altered by weird emulation issues, or sound channels being overtaken by other sound effects was something that was never properly addressed in later versions. I'm wondering how Sonic Origins will fare since those too will be direct ports of the games and will offer 16:9 widescreen for all the games, and have Sonic CD like Jam should have had in the first place, let alone every other god damn Sonic collection outside of Sonic Gems. It concerns me that the ports are being handled internally by Sega so I'm wondering if they're gonna bother adding the bonus stuff from Sonic 2's mobile port or any bonuses at all regarding lost content and the like.
