NGL, I kinda regret buying the RP2S. The sticks and triggers are nice, but the screen is WAY too small, and I never play anything outside of SNES and GBA anyways, both of which the RGB30 does better with perfect integer scaling and 8:7 AR, respectively, so the T610 is way overkill. And that’s ignoring how that square screen made me fall in love with GBC, after the faintest memories of playing my uncle’s Pokemon Silver on my GBA SP back in middle school. Pretty much the only thing it does better is the sleep function, which is basically saying the best part of the machine is when I need to stop playing it.

Going with the MM+ was a mistake
>no display out
>lack of a bezel feels uncanny for a retro handheld
>shoulder buttons feel uncomfortable to rest my fingers on in shooter games
>whole device is unergonomic, being too short to give your fingers a resting place
>the speaker is placed in the one exact corner your thumb would rest on, instead of the middle like the GBA SP did
Good Lord, I should’ve just gone with the 35XX instead. That’s the last time I listen to retro handheld reviewers; their Trump-sized baby hands don’t know shit about what fits best for me.
