Never played Bangai-O, would this be a good place to start? Because I also have a 360 and a 3DS so I'm able to play Missile Fury and Spirits.

Any good hori's on Dreamcast? Only one I played was pic related but I don't even think it's considered a shmup (still a great game though).

Bangai O is one of my favorite games ever. Unfortunately they fucked up with the sequels big time.

I started working on my own semi-remake of Bangai O but haven't touched it in a while. Once I finish up some other projects I'll get back into it.

but it will output at 240p @60hz and your computer monitor likely won't be able to support that resolution.

only an RGB Monitor/TV or component video enabled television could probably take that signal

you would probably have to use a VGA to component transcoder though for the television.
