It's funny that you think I'm even remotely depressed. I'm posting less because even I can no longer stem the flood of posters like you - and presumably him since I can't imagine why my post about the realities of independent film making could possibly so offend a person not badly deluded into thinking their little "movie" they're currently filming in the form of 3 minute youtube clips could be a nationally released 2018 academy award nominated film.

Healthy /vr/ was a mix of oldfags who participated in the authentic period culture of retro gaming then went on to grow into functional adults and youngfags who rejected modern gaming culture and sought to follow an old school gamer path - maybe in life in general but certainly in gaming.

Now we have literal /r9k/ fuckwits attempting to normalize even standardize their self-entombment validated by a bunch of people from countries where they lack the right to pursue happiness. Observing that process IS kind of depressing but it just reminds me how lucky I am to have the life I have.
