I made it and its a useless 1on1 where I never ping below 100ms. How disappointing.
How do people host low ping servers? I heard a local high school keeps people's servers and has fast net but I'm not brave enough to go ask if they can keep mine. And they're probably gonna want paid or do weird stuff.

Because contrary to the attitudes of people back when the consoles were new, (and the attitudes of too many people today even,) games are art, not toys.
When kids grow up they start to appreciate art from before their time. Youngsters will start enjoying classic music, old movies, literature, and yes, even games.

It's not some ironic fad or hipster millenial boogeyman, it's just people growing up to realize that something can be amazing even if it's old.
